I am a contracted doula with the Doula Foundation of Mid America and service mothers from the Rolla area, to the Springfield area. My services include 3 prenatal visits (one per trimester), being on call for the family two weeks prior to the birth date, being with the family throughout the entire birth and being on call for the family two weeks after the birth. As a part of the Foundation, our doulas also offer: continuous education throughout the pregnancy birth and postpartum, advocacy in the hospital environment, and emotional support for the family throughout the birthing experience. I am a passionate advocate of many different things in this life, but my main calling is assisting women and families during the childbearing year. I feel that all families deserve the right to bring their children into this world in their own way, and I seek to help them realize this goal through information, education, and support.
