Childbirth Classes in Rolla, Missouri

Do you want to increase your confidence in the natural process of birth? Are you ready to experience birth’s transforming power with respect and dignity and in safety, support, and trust? Serving Rolla, Missouri and surrounding communities, Molly Remer is pleased to offer independent birthing classes. These childbirth classes will encourage you to respect birth as a rite of passage, a sacred and intimate life experience, and a creative endeavor.

I am certified with the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA). ICEA’s motto is “freedom of choice based on knowledge of alternatives” and is based on a philosophy of family-centered maternity care. I am also certified by the Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators (now the International Birth and Wellness Project [IBWP]). ALACE/IBWP childbirth educators respect birth as a woman-centered and woman-directed passage, not an institution-centered medical event. Our goal is to help women reclaim trust in their bodies’ ability to safely and dependably give birth. Currently, I am finishing my certification with Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA).

Encouraging confidence, strength, and joy in childbearing through evidence based information, experiential learning, and psychological and emotional preparation is one of my life’s greatest passions. Contact me to arrange your class series soon!

My next class scheduled in October.  I am available for new classes in October, or November so if you are interested in signing up for a new class, please let me know! I am usually available for a single session class on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday evening. However, from October 19-Dec. 12, I will not be available on Fridays (M and W dates are still open). I prefer two weeks notice in order to prepare materials for the class.
